Trying to balance being a full-time mommy and a part-time veterinarian...oh, and still be a lovable wife! If you know the secret, please share!
I am blessed to have an amazing hunk of a husband (John) and 3 awesome kiddos (Faith, born 2002; Cole, born 2004; and our latest addition James, born 2006). I love my job working 3.5 days/week at an exceptional small animal clinic in south Austin. If I could pick any job in the world, I would choose to be a mother/wife. If I could choose any PAYING job in the world, I would choose to be a veterinarian. So although I realize how lucky I am to have the best of both worlds, I'm always struggling (like all working moms) to find that perfect balance.

It is really hard to find that quite time for your thoughts, feelings and to be able to write them down for others who really care how your doing. Life is so busy but just know that we want to know how your doing. Take time for yourself...you need it and deserve it.
