Trying to balance being a full-time mommy and a part-time veterinarian...oh, and still be a lovable wife! If you know the secret, please share!
I am blessed to have an amazing hunk of a husband (John) and 3 awesome kiddos (Faith, born 2002; Cole, born 2004; and our latest addition James, born 2006). I love my job working 3.5 days/week at an exceptional small animal clinic in south Austin. If I could pick any job in the world, I would choose to be a mother/wife. If I could choose any PAYING job in the world, I would choose to be a veterinarian. So although I realize how lucky I am to have the best of both worlds, I'm always struggling (like all working moms) to find that perfect balance.

Yeah, couldn't find a beagle. Someday I'll get smart enough to create my own template which will feature Nutmeg in her prime!
